Are wind farms ugly?
@ Tuesday, 29. May, 2007 – 06:41:58 pm

I think they look very nice, slender and graceful. I don't like the fact that they kill birds, but I don't have a problem with the aesthetics.

I'm in an odd mood today
@ Saturday, 26. May, 2007 – 04:41:35 pm
I'm supposed to be doing housework and prepairing to go away tomorrow. I can't seem to stick at one job, I get distracted and start doing something else. I think I feel a bit shit about that job, and that the weather isn't going to be nice, and in a couple of months I will be turning 39 (so close to 40
), and my bf has book a three week holiday in the states, which I will not be going on, moan, moan, moan ... OK I'll go now and feel sorry for myself quietly!

I'm pretty sure ...

... I didn't get that job. I think i would have heard from them by now. Oh well I suppose it was good practice.

My day in London
@ Monday, 21. May, 2007 – 08:19:43 pm
I went alone, so I could do whatever I wanted which was nice for a change. First stop was Blind Light at the Hayward. It was very good. You have probably heard about the room full of water vapour. When I first entered I felt I wouldn't be able to breath, but the feeling soon wore off. You can't see anything further that your hand stretched out in front of you, other people are like ghosts suddenly appearing close by. But I enjoyed it so much I waited in the que again for a second go! The other sculptures which I was really impressed with were 'Matrices and Expansion' which are a bit like drawings in space - you have to see them fro yourself. I then got some lunch at Eat. and walked down the river to the Tate Modern. I had a very good day despite the yucky weather.

Blind Light
@ Sunday, 20. May, 2007 – 10:31:36 pm

I'm taking a day off work tommorrow to visit the Hayward Gallery (you can get in half price on a Monday). I'm going to see the exhibition of Anthony Gormley's work. Then I might go to the Tate Modern. -
Interview
@ Saturday, 19. May, 2007 – 05:18:15 pm
I had my job interview on Friday. It seemed to go OK at the time. But now I keep going over and over it in my head and I'm quite worried about some things that I didn't answer very well. Well I will just have to wait for a phone call. I'm afraid that if I get it I will not be able to do it well. But my colleagues at work seem to think I could do the job very well.

Revisiting my teenage fantasy
@ Wednesday, 16. May, 2007 – 10:30:32 pm
I really fancied Robin of Sherwood, I watched it on TV and collected pictures of him.

I had a large poster just like this (see above) on the wall next to my bed. I used to practice kissing on it!! I also liked to stroke his privates (and mine
)
I still think he looks sexy.

IMVU
@ Monday, 14. May, 2007 – 10:19:52 pm
Earlier I was looking at Sleepers Media and found a snapshot of IMVF. I was curious to find out how it worked and signed up. It's very addictive, I could spend hours playing and chatting there. If you don't know what it is, it's like a 3D messenger/chat room thing where you get to meet people. I have already made two friends this evening.

Job application
@ Monday, 14. May, 2007 – 08:08:16 pm
I did get it sent off in time. The interviews are Friday, so I should know soon whether I will get one.

Sunday afternoon
@ Sunday, 13. May, 2007 – 03:20:38 pm
I've come home from my boyfriends place for a few hours as I have job application to fill in before tomorrow, but already I'm getting distracted by blogs and e-mails. Gosh how I hate job applications, and interviews - even worse! I'm kind of hoping I won't get invited for the interview as I get so nervous, I never do well. I think I need to go and get writing.

What a stupid (and expensive) mistake!!!!
@ Saturday, 12. May, 2007 – 03:11:19 pm
Yesterday I put unleaded petrol in my car, the problem, it takes diesel!! I have no idea how I picked up the wrong one, I've never done that before in 4 years! I was not covered by my rescue service so I had to pay to be towed up the road and the pertol to be taken out. £276 plus £25 for the petrol!! I've not had a good week.

Will you be voting?
@ Wednesday, 02. May, 2007 – 07:26:45 pm
I have voted for the last few years, but this time I've decided not to. I know it is our right, and we should have our say etc but I would be voting in the dark, I don't know much about politics, I don't know anything about the candidates. So how would I know who to vote for? I may do more harm than good just ticking any old box. If we had a Greenparty person I would just vote for them, but we don't.
